Director Quality Assurance
Obhajajie Juliet Inegbedion is a distinguished professor in the field of educational administration and planning. She specialises in economics of education, educational policies, quality assurance, project management, instructional design, and digital education. Her dedicated service unfolds at the esteemed National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), where she has played instrumental roles over the years, leaving a significant mark on the institution’s educational landscape.
Professor Inegbedion’s leadership role at NOUN commenced as the head of the business education unit within the School of Education, which has now evolved into the Faculty of Education. Her exceptional leadership skills led her to become the first deputy dean in the Faculty of Education, and subsequently, the first Director of the Directorate for Entrepreneurship and General Studies, where she dedicated five years to fostering the institution’s growth and development in entrepreneurship education and eLearning. She is currently the Director of Quality Assurance in the university.
Among her noteworthy achievements at NOUN is the establishment of seven incubation centres strategically positioned across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones which is serving as mentorship hubs for NOUN students, pioneering online facilitation, transformative changes in digital education and internal quality assurance practices, training practitioners in course design and development, designing and facilitating MOOCs, developing tools that can facilitate remote learning.
Furthermore, at the international level, Professor Inegbedion serves as consultant to Commonwealth of learning (COL). she is the Focal Point of the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) on Quality, representing Africa and championing the cause of quality education in the realm of open and distance learning. Her multifaceted contributions in education reflect a remarkable career dedicated to fostering quality, innovation, and accessibility in higher education.

I am a trained Confidential Secretary by profession with work experience of many years in the NOUN. I have acquired HND and PGD in Secretarial Administration and Public Administration respectively and also M.Sc (in view)
Presently, I was deployed to the Directorate of Quality Assurance as s Registry staff under the leadership of Prof. Juliet O. Inegbedion. I have the ability to work independently with less or minimal supervision. I enjoy the team work spirit and also good working relationship existing at the Unit amongst the staff member. It’s good to work in unity.

Nora Onwumelu, is a results-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Officer, who is deeply committed to excellence and effective communication.
As the Coordinator for Monitoring and Evaluation, she is deeply involved with the review of quality assurance processes and procedures while prioritizing the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of academic and operational processes, aligning with the NOUN’s vision, mission, and core values.

My name is Abdulazeez Attahiru Enagi, Quality Assurance Officer II, under the Directorate of Quality Assurance at the National Open University of Nigeria. I possess a degree in business administration (MSc. in Business Administration) I have valuable working experience I have keen eyes on details and am always looking for ways to improve processes and procedures. As a compliance officer, I am saddled with the responsibility of working with various directorates, units, faculties, and study centres to develop SOPS. And ensure the staff activities and tasks in various directorates, units, and faculties are in line with the university’s regulatory policies. Train university staff on compliance. Ensures that all staff are doing what they are assigned to do using the approved SOPs.
Blessing Uwanugo Ozukwe

My name is Blessing Uwanugo Ozukwe. I have MSc. Business Administration in National Open University of Nigeria. Master of Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) in University of Lagos and also a BSc. In Secretarial Administration in Lagos State University. Presently I am a Principal Quality Assurance Officer serving in the Directorate of Quality Assurance of the National Open University of Nigeria. I am the coordinator of the compliance team in the Directorate.
I have served in the Registry of NOUN as a secretary and rose through the ranks to the position of Principal Confidential Secretary. I also served in the Directorate of Quality Assurance as a secretary so when the opportunity came for a change of cadre to becoming a Quality Assurance Officer, it was an easy decision for me to make because I already had a working experience on the fundermentals of Quality Assurance.
I have a typing speed of 120/m and also posses good leadership skills. I have the ability to work with minimal supervision and a great team player. I have a team working with me to ensure that processes in the Faculties, Directorates, Units and Study Centres are in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure and Policies guiding the University Operations.

I graduated from Nasarawa State University keffi, with B.sc (Hons) mathematics in 2014. I did my mandatory youth services in ondo state from 2014 to 2015 in which I serve as mathematics class teacher. Immediately after my NYSC, I was employed with mada Hills secondary school Akwanga from November 2015 to December 2017 as a mathematics class teacher. From January 2018 to 2020, I was employed with shepherds international college Akwanga as a mathematics class Teacher . In December 2020, I was employed with National Open of Nigeria as an assistant executive officer in which work to January 2024. February first, I was upgraded to Quality Assurance Officer ll as a result of my outstanding performance at the interview conducted. Hobby: Reading, solving mathematics problems and football.

I furthered my education at NDA, achieving an MSc in Computer Science. Currently, I serve as a Senior Database Admin Officer deployed to the Directorate of Quality Assurance at NOUN. With extensive experience in database management and quality assurance, I am dedicated to maintaining and improving data integrity and operational efficiency.
